As a reminder, Halloween is being celebrated tomorrow as a part of our Red Ribbon Week - as we say, "Boo to Drugs!" The following message was sent to families. Note: Inflatable costumes that prohibit students from being able to sit in their desks will not work for the day, too.
BES and BPS are celebrating Halloween on 10/31 (a Thursday). We look forward to celebrating this day while also enjoying a normal day of learning. Students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costume to school. The costume should be school appropriate and not too scary. Students MUST refrain from wearing masks and/or face-paint and should not bring fake blood or toy weapons of any sort to school. Students wearing face paint will be asked to wipe/wash it off. Here's to a fun and safe October 31!
Also, on Friday, as it is All Saints Day - and we will all be saints for surviving school the day AFTER Halloween - please feel free to dress comfortably and casually (just please no pants with holes, rips, or tears.
Thank you for all you do.
-Josh
