ViewBoards at Night and Over Break

When going home each night (and over break), please hold the power button down on your ViewSonic TV to turn it all the way off. You will see the shut down message and know it is off. This request comes from IT (and this is just a reminder from our staff meeting).

Roll Paper and Laminator

As we look to maximize the use of every space, our rolls of butcher block paper have now been rolled into the closet between Ms. Martin's room doors (closet no. 204). The lamination machine is now in storage in the back of the media center (closet no. 236). If you need access to either one, see one of the gurus at the front desk. They can get you a key to either or both!

Thanks,

Josh

Patriot Day Coming Up on 9-11

Patriot Day is 9/11. This day honors the women and men who served others and their country during and after the attacks on the US that occurred on September 11th.

On this day, please think about engaging your students in age appropriate conversations about the history of this day and what it means. During morning meeting, you may ask the following questions:

·        What is a patriot?
·        What does it mean to be a patriot?
·        How do people show support for their others and their country?

You may also want to show this brief video (1:44): https://youtu.be/Ec-6kdLvYec

There is also a fun, brief writing activity that you could do for morning work (or that could become a full cut-out project to do with students) at this link in our faculty drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14QCK00L6za_BB4Eu2jeFYtAooj0LaRYc/view?usp=sharing

Please reach out to any other admin. team member if you need any help celebrating this day.
