Tiger of the Month Assembly

Next Friday, 9/6, we will have a SCHOOL WIDE MORNING MEETING! Please be in the gym at 7:30 with your class, helping them find their asigned bleacher seats (linked on the right here). Tabitha will share the Tigers of the Month -- and then we will have our first monthly battle for the TIGER TAIL TROPHY! Which grade will take Septmeber? Whoever wins it will produly be able to display it in their pod! You don't want to miss the fun. The assembly will run from 7:45 - 8:25, so you will have plenty of time to start your day right after RTI/RTT time.

Kindness Project

Heat Wave Reminders

 

A few heat wave reminders:

1-please take care of yourself and hydrate. Remember, we have ice in the concession stand. Also, feel free to wear Bardstown Tshirts and shorts the next two days if you’d like. 

2-make sure kids hydrate. Please allow them to drink water as needed, and remind them to bring water bottles. 

3-if the heat index is over 95°, please do not go outside for recess. This is universal across BES, BPS, and BECEC. Feel free to get out of your room and use the social stairs or cafeteria for recess space if you need a change of pace (before or after lunch for the latter).

Eating in the Classroom AND Binders

You are ALWAYS welcome to eat lunch in your classroom with your students. 

Please make sure you take a trash can from the cafeteria down with you, and bring it back when finished. ALL TRAYS should also be returned at the end of lunch. Please do not leave any trays in your classroom. 

ALSO, if you have not picked up your RED EMERGENCY binder, please pick it up ASAP from the office. We have our first drill August 12.

 

If you need any help at all, just call 8801. 

Lunch Numbers

We have placed rosters with lunch numbers in your mailbox (or Mrs. Goatley handed it to you). Please ensure students know their lunch number. It helps us all stay on schedule. Send it with a student on a post-it note or stick it on a piece of masking tape to them before sending them down for lunch if they need a reminder. :)
